Dear INSERT NAME,
The first quarter of the year is over, and Easter has already flown by!
Not to worry though – we are heading towards some warmer weather and, in this April newsletter, we've got some great updates. We hope this information can contribute to your best practice.
As usual, we have some great webinars planned, each taking place on the last Thursday of the month. Everyone is very welcome, just a quick registration is required and you can do this in a few seconds. The next webinar topic is Management of the bulbar ALS patient.
If you recall, in the previous newsletter, we announced that we want to make EveryWare even more user-friendly. As such, in addition to being able to adjust ventilator settings on our non-life-support devices, you can now also grant access to your patients' data to ”external parties”. As an EveryWare account administrator, you have full control over what an external user is allowed to see or do. There has been an increased demand for EveryWare data integration into patient management systems. Keep an eye out in the next newsletter for more information.
We hope you still find Education by Breas a fascinating place to gather information. For any further details, please get in touch at breasclinicalteam@breas.com.
Best Regards,
The Education by Breas Team. |

Leakage and airway obstructions have an impact on patient-ventilator asynchronies. This article shows the importance of reading the ventilator data regularly to optimise settings, especially in cases of reduced compliance. Speak to your Breas representative about using the integrated effort belts accessory on the Vivo 45 series and Nippy 4+ to reduce PVAs.
