Dear INSERT NAME,
The year is already flying by. In this newsletter, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the new approach to our webinar series. As you may have noticed, we no longer offer webinars live but we are convinced that you will still watch them en masse.
What is actually changing? To access the webinars, please register. Once registered, you will gain access to all current webinars, and in the near future, additional content will be added. We'll also notify you when new content becomes available. Simply use your login to view premium content.
Furthermore, after watching, you can still ask your questions either via Breasclinicalteam@breas.com or via the QR code displayed at the beginning of each webinar. The speaker or our team will then answer your questions as soon as possible.
This year's programme is almost finalised so be sure to keep an eye on our social media channels. We will also share the programme via an additional newsletter. We have now published Prof Nick Hart's lecture on HMV in COPD: who, how and when! Later this month, we will also publish a lecture presented by Dr Michelle Chatwin on the use of M I/E in Children: common questions and answers.
Best Regards,
The Education by Breas Team |

More and more intensive care units are recognising the added value of using the Clearway 2 when weaning the patient. Both during the intubation period and after detubation, there is room for airway clearance support. It is crucial to always ensure optimal conditions to get the patient out of hospital as soon as possible; prevention is always better than cure.
Ema Swingwood works as a respiratory physio. She has led on the development of respiratory physiotherapy advice and guidance for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy members during the pandemic and so understands the added value of the MI-E. She enthusiastically shares her positive experiences “outside neuromuscular disease”.

In some countries, there is now reimbursement for telemonitoring of the ventilated patient. In order not to further increase workload, we have kept notifications very simple. For some technical alarms on the device you want to be notified immediately, while for other patient-related alarms maybe every 5 minutes. Find out how we simplified the workflow and how you can handle notifications, facilitating easy peer follow-up. Our aim is to only show you those patients who have a problem, eliminating the need to include others in the extensive list if they do not require attention.
